Vehicle Detail

Well its time to sell off some of my personal collection of Mopars in order to finance some of the other ongoing projects I have going on at this time. So,up for bidding/sale is my Ralley Red,1973 Dodge Challenger. I've had this car for a couple years only driving it a few times when I first purchased it so it has been sitting in storage for a couple years. My original intentions were to replace the 318 with a 400 that I have that I was going to do a stroker engine and then use the car as a daily driver. I just don't have the time to right now nor the extra funds to do all that and need to finish some other cars/remodeling that is in process, so I am selling off some of my personal cars I have to finance these other projects. This is a beautiful, solid 73 Challenger that will need very little to be safely on the road and enjoying for the up and coming summer season. The car has a new paint job that was done about 2 years ago. It was repainted in the original Ralley red color the car came with. With that paint job the previous owner had both left and right FULL factory style AMD 1/4 panels installed on the car along with new AMD trunk dropoffs. ( I know this for a fact as I am an AMD dealer and sold these panels to the previous owner) Trunk lid is original with no swelling or rot on the lip. The trunk floor is still the original trunk floor showing no signs of patches being welded in. New undercoating applied under rear of car after new panels were installed. No undercoating applied to the inside of 1/4/s in trunk. Previous owner was looking for a way to duplicate the factory heavy "undercoat" look before haveing them painted so they are still untouched and a good way to see that full 1/4 panels were installed and not skins..The original front and rear frame rails are super solid with no patching or repairs ever being done. Original floorboards are also extremly solid with no patchwork ever done on them. I removed the carpet to take pictures of those original floors to show how nice they really are! Front inner fenders are also solid seeing only a small patch put in under the battery tray. Otherwise, solid. Lower parts of the doors look nice with no swelling at the seams. Bottoms of the fenders do NOT look like they have ever been patched. This is one solid E-Body!. As I said the paint job is about 2 years old. I'm told it was professionally done in PPG Deltron Basecoat with 3 coats of Urethane clear. Outside blocked with 1500 grit sandpaper and buffed to a super gloss shine. New items on the car in addition to the full 1/4 panels, dropoffs and paint job are. New AMD front bumper, AMD rear bumper, vinyl top, stripe kit, trunk mat, headliner, package tray, dash cap, front seat covers, rear seat covers, front brake calipers, washer bottle. The car will need a few things done before enjoying it this summer. To the best of my knowledge it will need a radio, inside mirror, pillar post mouldings,"challenger" emblem for dash, parking brake, washer foot pump, dash vent, speaker grille, proper center console ( 1970 style in it now), idler arm, shroud, power steering pump, engine compartment detail, belts, hoses, exhaust manifold gaskets and tuneup if you plan on keeping the 318 in it and useing it. I do have the bumper guards that belong to the car. Previous owner did not like them and were not reinstalled with the new bumpers. As far as the wheels and tires are concerned, there is a set of 15 inch police wheels on the car with nice tires. I will give the buyer the option of keeping these wheels and tires or I can offer a set of 14 inch ralley wheels with centers and rings but will need tires OR a set of 14 inch Magnum wheels with rings only and a set of new blackwall tires. Your choice. It doesn't make a difference to me. All in all this is a sharp looking 73 Challenger that needs very little be on the road in no time. Exterior paint job is beautiful that is accented nicely with the black interior and black stripe. Car can also be a money maker for the right person. With the addition of a big block with the mean agressive look of the car as it sits right now can increase the value quite dramatically on this. Do some engine upgrades to this and take it to the Mopar Nationals or the All Chrysler show at Carlisle and make some money. I have the car priced very fairly but I am not giving it away by no means. So please don't try to lowball me. I'm priceing it right from the beginning, thats it. My reserve is very close to the Buy-it-Now price, so thats pretty much where I am on the car.We all know how hard it is to find a solid E-Body regardless of the year. And to have one that is already painted with new 1/4 panels, paint and interior work done that is almost ready for the road at a fair price. Do the math! I do have the car for sale locally so if you are interested, bid your best or Buy-it-Now as if it sells locally the auction is ended. I am not interested in any trades for other cars, boats, real estate, bikes ETC. I'd prefer just to keep this car and stuff it back away.I am asking for a 1,000.00 deposit in the form of a bank check/money order within 5 days of auctions end. Balance due within 14 days of auctions end in form of cash upon pickup or bank check prior to pickup. Bank checks will need to clear my bank before the car will be released. Buyer respnsible for shipping arrangements and all costs incured. I have a free and clear PA title in my name for the vehicle. Car is sold As-Is with no warranty. Any questions or concerns or something I forgot feel free to Email me. I'll do my best to answer them
