DESCRIPTION: Very nice 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with tow package, 2" lift, with many new parts. This Grand Wagoneer, or Woody as some call them has a little over 106,000 miles and is in great condition. I drive it every few days; have probably put 1,000 miles on it since last August when I bought it. Since it is my third vehicle I do not use it very often.. Clear title, ready for summer fun and winter work. Exterior: Has been repainted about six years ago, no corrosion, new decals at that time, some minor knick and dings, nothing serious. Chrome is good, shows some light pitting, but normal for its age. Rear window wiper motor is missing, the prior owner took it out because it kept running and misplaced it. I am in contact with him and if found will be provided at time of sale. Has a Class three hitch, luggage rack, and after market fog lights. Interior: Floor carpet has been replaced, seats, door panels are all in very good or better condition, some minor creases, cracks, and tears. Has overhead console with temperature and compass, plus storage compartments. Power seats, windows, door locks all work, including rear tailgate window. The driver side mirror control is not working, the small control arm broke off, it will need to be replaced. I know where there is one and if I can get to it will provide it at time of sale, buyer will have to install it. After market Jensen radio plays CD's but will not pick up any AM/FM stations, antenna is fine, may be radio will need to be replaced. Heater and air conditioner work great, hot for the winter, and blows cold for the summer. Engine, Drive Train: 360 cubic inch V8, 2 barrel Carburetor, new water pump, new battery, new plugs, new plug wires, rotor, rear universal joints, new radiator as of two years ago. Has the low speed rear standard with the towing package so it has the power to pull sizeable loads. Shifts into and out of 4WD nicely, have not had to use the low range, but is also works well. Has cruise control, power brakes, steering, automatic transmission, and both High and Low Range 4 Wheel Drive. We had some pesky snow and ice storms and it really came through for me as I have an uphill lane to get out of, a few times I did not even have it plowed as it just walked up it with no effort at all. What also helps is the two inch lift. Great for off road use, or just a great vehicle if you live in snow country. What I like about this Wagoneer is that it is built like a tank, really heavy and rugged, not your light weight SUV, plus it is a head turner, always receive positive comments wherever I take it. On Mar-03-11 at 17:36:53 PST, seller added the following information: ADDED INFORMATION MISSED ENTERING ON INITIAL LISTING Wheels/Tires: Tire size is 235 x 75 x 15, has two Michelin XCX/APT tires on front which have no more than about 15,000 miles on them, one of back blew out early last year and could no longer match it so put two new Goodyear Wranglers on the back which have about 5,000 on them. The rims are in very good condition, center chrome hubs on back are off as the holes will need to be rethreaded, will see if I can get it done before end of sale, if not, then buyer accepts it as is with the hubs. Items I missed mentioning: Brakes have been replaced about 2 years ago or less which means they may have about 10,000 on them. Some of the brake lines have been replaced, new skid pad, also forgot to mention it has a new carburetor as of about a year ago. Ride and handling: The two inch lift on this Wagoneer really makes it stand out from your average Wagoneers, and provides great visibility, really neat tooling around in it. The 2" lift was done in 2005 with a BJ's, of Washington State 2 inch lift kit, consisting of springs and u-bolts, plus 4 Skyjacker Nitro 8000 Shocks. Also, someone asked if this vehicle was safe to drive, not sure what they meant but I drive in at least every other day and although I only put a little over 1,000 miles on it since I had it, it never failed me, nor would I have a problem leaving today for California with it as is, of course would probably have to plot gas station locations. They might have meant because of the lift, but it is very stable, steers easily, turns on a dime, both on and off road. It has a current Pennsylvania Inspection as of November 2010.
