This is a 1997 Chevrolet 1500 2wd pickup with very low miles for the year. This truck was owned and used by Parks Chevrolet for most of its life. Being owned by a Chevrolet dealer this truck was very well maintained. Truck just pasted inspection in Sept. 2010 with absolutly no problems. Has a matching set of white letter bf goodrich tires in good shape. Everything on this truck works as it should and is in nice condition inside and out. The engine in this truck has 2900 miles on it and I have the recipts to prove it. Thats right a brand spankin new engine. The truck was takin to a garage for a routine oil change and the shop who shall remain nameless put the wrong oil filter on the engine. This caused a leak and damage to the engine. The engine was pulled out at a reputable shop and taken to the local machine shop and completly rebuilt with new pistons, rings, crankshaft, rods, camshaft, lifters, bearings, and so on. It was a complete overhaul. While they had it out I bought new spark plugs, Ignition Wires, distributor cap, and ignition rotor just to have everything like new again. While the truck was being repaired I found a 4 door truck that I really liked and bought it. So now I have one to many trucks. This truck has the normal dings and scratches that you would expect to see on a 1997 but is still in very nice shape. There is a tear in the drivers seat that you can see in the pics and It had a seat cover on it but I removed it just so you can see the tear in the pic with the seat cover on there you never see it. You can drive this truck anywhere you wanna go fly in and drive it home it runs and drives absolutly perfect. Anyone wanting to come see the truck and test drive it before the auction ends is more than welcome and I encourge it. There is no reserve on this sale so it will be sold to the highest bidder.
