Vehicle Detail

This 1987 Nissan 300ZX has been shown several times at the Friday Night Cruise (late model modified class) car show at Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida and is a daily driver. There is a lot of money, work and time invested in this car. There are 197,500 miles on the motor but the motor runs and sounds great!!! It is a very fast car. The motor is the 222 horsepower, double overhead cam, variable valve timing, VG30DE engine. The most powerful non-turbo engine available for that time period. A car this small and light with that much horsepower has excellent power-to-weight-ratio and is very competitive. Also, the auto transmission and four-wheel disc brakes are excellent. The car drives great. The cars two-tone paint and graphics look great. It’s equipped with interior neon lights, which I have never used. The hood scoop also has neon in it that shines out through the louvers on the sides. The previous owner was driving down the interstate and didn’t close the hood properly; it blew open and did some damage to the hood scoop area and some minor damage to the hood itself. It’s nothing that a little simple basic bodywork couldn’t repair. All of the lights, brake lights, signals, wipers and electric windows work fine and the car is ready to drive. The car has a remote alarm system that works. It also comes with a radar scanner/detector (it is not hooked up). It could use some miscellaneous, minor work. It also has a Jensen AM/FM/CD stereo system with removable face, which is not hooked up. I am sad to sell this car. I was proud to drive it but I have too many projects. I am spreading my resources and myself too thin. I am more into American muscle cars and I have a Ranchero 500 GT that still needs work. So, my loss is your gain. All you need is some minor bodywork on the hood, some touch ups here and there, and you’ll have a show winner. And it would be worth many times more than the small reserve price. But just like it is, it gets continuous attention and compliments. It sets you apart, makes you proud and turns heads everywhere you go. Thanks and good luck bidding.
