1968 Ford Mustang Coupe, VIN 8F01T199889 with 109,237 miles and a clear title. This car currently runs and drives but does need some work, this would make a good starting point for a winter project car! As I've tried to show in the pictures, the body is not perfect, it needs some repair in the front (new valence, stone deflector, trim and bumper). The car does have some rust in the aprons and floors. The paint is OK, not new and not perfect but I've seen a lot worse. I don't specifically know the color. The car has a Ford 289 V8 Motor with 4V Aluminum Intake, Holley 600 CFM carburetor and what look like Hooker Long Tube Headers. The motor is setup with Power steering up its not connected currently. The motor runs, but I'd probably suggest an overhaul. Transmission is a Ford Toploader 4-Speed with a factory shifter setup, reverse is pretty hard to find put its there. Rear-End is a Ford 8 inch with 5 lugs, I don't know what gears the car has, I think it may have 3.73 or 3.91s judging by how it drives. The guy also installed side exhaust. The Interior needs some work, the upholstry is ripped, the previous owner painted the dash, doors, and column body color. The carpets not in bad shape, I think its probably original but I'd still replace if it was me. Its missing little items like crank handles, etc. the stereo is also gone. The car has a small Tach where the ash tray goes. The car has aftermarket aluminum wheels in good shape, the tires are older but usable. I would suggest trailering the car home, but thats just me I know theres people out there that drive these things across country still. Any Questions Please Don't Hesitate To Ask.
