Here is a winter project for those of you who love rat rods.Work on it this winter and have it on the road by spring. I bought this car in May of this year from Slaugther House customs of Seymour Indiana( they did the kind of job done welding on the body that was done and the chopping and channeling frame building and put the floors in it and mounting it on the frame the way it is ,rear end setup and front axle setup )I already have some what i feel like iis major money invested in this and even at the reserve am losing thousands on it. THIS THE LAST TIME IT WILL BE OFFERED FOR MONTHS MAYBE THE NEXT FEW YEARS . As you can see it is very chopped(I beleve about 6-7 inches and channeled (3 or 4 inches) it has a 9 inch Ford rear end,a Ford 302 motor and ford automatic transmission . the following parts are new from Speedway Motors gas tank, chrome 28 inch roadster steering colum ,front disc brake setup ,motor mount kit, the front tires are new radials with port a walls and the rear are 75% tread bias ply tires there is also a new pair of whitewall cheater slicks that go with the car. there currently is no brake system,fuel lines /system the tank is just sitting in the car. the radiator as shown is just mocked up for the photos it will have to be tested the lower tank put on it for the trans oil cooler ect and mounts for it made. The engine and automatic transmission are in it mounted and well supported and there is a drive shaft from the trans to the rear end already made and in place.but no shifter . There is the new steering colum in the box but no steering box,drag link ect There is a tie rod so at least both wheels do point in the same direction. you will need to wench the car on/into your trailer . no pedal assemblys or linkages .There is no title to it the there is no frame numbers as the frame was custom built from scratch.there is no electrical system. The body is very much rat rod material I beleve a 29 and a 31 body put together. there is as you see in the photos no rear window the gas tank would have blocked it anyway if it had been left in it it is very kicked up in the back and there is no longer a rear seat area this is a 2 person car the doors are sucicide and held closed with a slide type household type door latch. there is a new front windsheld glass( maybe 6 inches wide ) only no other glass there is a tan snap on cover for the roof If you would like to see the car before the end of the auction you may contact Ken for an appointment on his cell phone between 9:30 am and 8:30 pm Indiana time at 317-908-6112 ONLY CALL HIM TO SEE THE CAR DO NOT BOTHER HIM WITH QUESTIONS OR ANYTHING ELSE.ALL QUESTIONS ARE TO BE E MAILED TO MY1962CHEV@AOL.COM THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO RETURNS YOU WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN PICKUP AND HAULING HAVE FUN BIDDING BUT BE FULLY PREPAIRED TO COVER ANY BID YOU MAKE AS THIS CAR WILL SELL AND THIS CAR NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP AND PAID FOR IN CASH( AND I DO MEAN CASH NO MONEY ORDERS,BANK CHECKS BANK DRAFTS OR PERSONAL CHECKS)IN FULL VERY QUICKLY I DO NOT WANT TO DRAG THIS OUT FOR WEEKS AND MONTHS.
