Up for auction is my very original 944 Porsche, "Garage Find". I think I drove this car more this summer than the original owner did in the last 10 years. My wife says it has to go, we need the money. (My 85 1/2 944 is all she will let me keep) You can drive this car anywhere. I would drive this car to California tomorrow. I drove it from the MD/DC area (where it was bought new) to here in PA. The good: This car is all original. The original stereo works well, the cigarette lighter has never been used. With 2 non-smoker owners, it was never smoked in. Engine runs great, and will get you 30 mpg. It has very low miles with just 2 owners in 23 years. The window sticker shows the car was $32,000 new in 87'. The car was never in an accident according to the last owner and carfax. The bad: The car was re-painted due to fading many years ago. Now, I would only rate the paint a 8 out of 10. 1 small dent as shown on the photo. Some paint chipping and wearing from age. The air is not working, and cracks on the dash are covered by an aftermarket dash cover. Overall this car is an amazing original example of the 944. Don't buy this car if you are looking for perfection. If an opening seam on the leather, fading coating on the rims will bug you, don't buy it. The car is sold as-is, with no warrenty.
