Up for auction is a 1995 Chevy Camaro Convertible Z28. The car was bought in Austin Texas from a friend some years back. It had sat in her garage for a few years before I came along and put a new battery in it and drove it out. It did pass Texas Emmissions and inspection at that time but now it is registered in Kansas until April 2011. It runs very well. But being a Camaro it does have some minor problems. The paint is good for its age, there is some spider cracks in the plastic bumpers.small chip in the passengers door corner with a little rust and only one dent in the top drivers quarter panel I could find, I added a picture of it but it is hard to see unless the sun hits it the right way.. It will need a new passenger side mirror. I just had the passenger window motor replaced and the A/C checked. I had the mechanic put freon in it and it blew 47 degrees until we notice the system has a leak and it was drained in a day. But the compressor and the clutch work great... The mechanic said the condenser is leaking but he would have to do a dye test on it to know for sure. The tires are in fair shape and it will drive to its new home. The fuel gauge stopped working last week as well. The bra on the front of the car was put on by me when i got the car in texas mainly to hide a hole in the drivers fender until I could replace it but i never got around to it. But it is fiberglass so it has not rusted. But the bra does have small wear holes from rubbing curbs while parking the car. The interior is good for its age but does has wear.. There are leather seat covers on the front seats as the actual leather seats had holes in them from people sliding down into the car over the years. There is a tear at the seams on the top of the back seat as well. The covertible top was replaced just last year and it still has the actual glass rear window in it. and as far as I can tell it does not leak unless your are at the carwash with the power washer. The top goes up and down great. That factory radio is missing part of the volume knob but the radio and CD player work. The drivers seat is power and works. From being left in the sun the dash has cracked and I will gladly put a dash cover pad over it if the buyer wants me too. The car just needs a new home. It has been very dependable over the years. I am using Kelly Blue book and other Camaro auctions on Ebay as my reference point for the listing price. I listed as much about the car as I possibly could find or think of. But I did include a few pictures to help. I will gladly answer any questions or send more pictures if needed. A jack does not come with the car as it did not have one when I got the car in Texas so I just bought a small floor jack for the car and a 4way wrench. Also it comes with a new set of Gabriel Hijacker (still in box) air shocks for the rear of the car. I am requesting that a $500.00US down payment be deposited into my paypal account within 48 hours after the auction has ended and the car picked up or arrangments made within 7days. The deposit will go towards the remainder owed on the car but is non refundable if the buyer changes their mind about going through with the sell. Serious buyers only please.
