Fablous 1952 Bentley. estate car. Way too many options to list, but I will try. These pictures were taken before the interior had a make-over. If you want current pictures, email me. Origional Burlwood interior accents, dash, door panel trim, etc. Leather seats in good shape. Just had front bottom and rear top seat reupolstered. Suicide front door. Sun Roof. 12 Volt. Starts with an throttle enrichner and throttle :hold" switch, which can also be used as an engine RPM throttle hold, like a cruse control, on flat ground. A pedal under the dash, which when pumped, lubricates the whole chasise, avoiding the traditional "Lube job". A ride stiffness switch on the steering wheel allowing the driver to stiffen or soften the ride. Fog lamp. Locked tool storage in the dash, burlwood covered, like an additional glove box, holding specific Bentley tools. Burlwood glove box. Additional storage hold in dash. Rear foot rest's. 2 Fold down tray-tables in the rear of the front seat, for the back passangers, in burlwood. [Much like on a commercial airliner]. A hand crank for the motor, and if done properly, is not that hard to start using this method. Trunk folds down with chrome spikes to hold your picknic basket. 4 or 6 way hub caps. Wide whitewall tires. 3664 C.C 6 Cylinder Bentley motor, built by Rolls-Royce, I am told.All origional air induction system, raidator, hoses, resavours, and motor componants are in place and working properly. Compression is good, 130 accross the cylinders. Bentley's are hand built cars, and did not change much for years. That is why a 1936 and ab 1948 look the same as a 1953. Very well built cars, meant to run for years to come. This one needs a little paint attention and some of the chrome componants in the rear of the car are starting to get surface rust. The front of the car looks fantastic. Driver window rolls down very fast with a "handle" type operation. This was so your driver could access the out side quiuckly, for some reason. All other windows open and close with ease, as do the door handles. She is easy to start, runs smooth with a ton of power and comes with a leather bound, 64 Chapter operator's manual. The hood opens and closes easily and has the hooks to keep the hood open. She is a joy to drive and all heads turn when she drives down the street. i reciently accuired her in a trade from a fellow who got it from the woman who owned it for years. The car has the origional insignias from the large dealer in London where she was first bought and there are metal plates stating the sequence numbers and Bentley Logo,s and a large "R" from Rolls-Royce. I am selling her because I have too many cars and I can only treat a few of them the way they should be treated, plus I don't have the room for her. I love driving this car and she is a lot of fun, but I only have so much room. The new owner of this car will be very happy for years to come.
