Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1990 Honda Fourtrax 300 4x4. Purchased new from a Camrod Honda on West 57th Street in New York City in January 1990. Over the next 20 years it was used sparingly on asphalt as a “pit bike” at road racing events. I was fortunate enough to find and buy the ATV just this week from the original owner. The Honda Fourtrax 300 is arguably the best all around utility quad ever built. Honda produced this model from 1988-2000 unchanged. To this day, no matter the year, this model seems to hold its value. I am not an armoral/detail kind of guy. It was only rinsed for the pictures. The word that constantly comes to mind when I look at it is “glossy.” After really going over it I can safely say that it only has a handful of hours, and was primarily used on pavement. Everything on it is 100% original. The pictures don’t do it any justice, please click on the youtube link below to get a good look at the quad and hear it run. Comes with the original Honda title. The owner’s manual/tool kit/pressure gauge are in the trunk untouched. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzpb1vN_csg The only real imperfections on this ATV are the series of scratches on the gas tank from the previous owner’s belt buckle. You will not find a cleaner Honda Fourtrax 300, any year, anywhere. Although it would be almost a shame to ride it, this quad will outlast any brand new model. If you read the listing in its entirety, view all the pictures in supersize, watch the youtube video, and still have any questions I am available through email or by phone at 908-581-3883. I am not a dreamer. I have posted the ATV to sell it with a reasonable reserve. If it does not reach the reserve I would be surprised. In the next day or so I will be listing a brand new 2000 Honda CR500. So check my other auctions. U.S.SHIPPING, PLEASE READ! The bike is located in Whitehouse Station NJ 08889 which is about an hour west of New York City and an hour from Philidelphia. I can offer several shipping options for you to choose from: 1) I will deliver the bike to Forward Air in Newark NJ and load it in one of their containers for a fee of only $100 that will include new ratcheting tie-downs and locks that will be yours to keep. You must make all the arrangements and pay Forward Air their fee before I deliver the bike. You MUST use their container. Please check with them for rates @ WWW.FORWARDAIR.COM 2) There are several transportation services that will pickup and deliver door to door without crating. One that I have used with success is Federal Transport. You may contact them @ WWW.FUNTRANSPORT.COM There is no charge for my assistance with this option. 3) My favorite! You may make your own arrangements and I will assist you anyway I can on this end. This bike can be loaded with ease on to any type of vehicle you send. Again, there will be no charge for my assistance with this option. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ ALL: Remember, your winning bid is a contract to buy, not to show up, kick the tires and then decide you've changed your mind. I apologize if this sounds harsh but we all know these types of bidders do exist so please don't bid unless you're serious about owning this vehicle. I am not a dealer, I don't do this for a living, I'm an enthusiast with a large number of bikes and from time to time I thin out the herd. If you'd like any detailed photos of a specific area of the bike, just ask! Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. I will not sugarcoat anything for the sake of a few extra dollars. With all the bikes I own or have owned over the years, I know how disappointing it is when someone over-sells a bikes condition so you may be sure I won't do that to you. I have disclosed and will gladly provide photos of all known defects for your inspection. You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect and testride the bike. Although this bike is sold “as is” and "without warranty", I want you to be happy and I will do anything within reason to me to see that you are. Thank you and good luck! PLEASE NOTE: I do not make "Second Chance Offers" as a result of all the fraud associated with them. If you receive a second chance offer on this bike, please report it to Ebay because it is a FAKE!
