1985 Honda Magna

This is a black 1985 Honda V65 Magna motorcycle with 8,066 miles. I purchased this a couple years ago from the gentleman who I believe was the original owner. This has spent most of it's life parked inside- so I had the carburetors professionally disassembled /cleaned and rebuilt, I just installed a new battery a couple days ago and I replaced the coolant. I cleaned the air filter, replaced the fuel filter and changed the oil. The motorcycle starts instantly, runs and drives excellent with no transmission problems at all.. There are some problems with the bike however- there are a couple dings in the fuel tank, the rear tire will need to be replaced, there are also some areas on the wheels where the chrome is peeling. The seat has a few tears in it. The right side muffler has a couple scrapes towards the bottom... The original sight windows on the clutch and front brake reservoirs look good /clear and do not leak. This is a clean & very original Honda motorcycle which I think you will like. I was hoping I would not have to sell it, but we are moving and could use the money towards that- plus I would just like to see it go to someone who is going to ride and enjoy it and not just look at it like I do. This bike is in very nice condition in my opinion. The plastics are not cracked OR missing any pieces, the bike runs and drives nicely and everything works- again, with no 2nd gear problems like some bikes have. The inside of the fuel tank is very clean with no rust. The original sight windows are also nice and very clear- they would have looked even clearer in these pictures if I had changed what is probably the original F.brake & clutch fluids(but I did not). The fork tubes are not rusted and the brakes work well. I also let the motorcycle idle for several minutes to make sure the cooling fan starts up- and it did.. Again- if you have less than 10 transactions here on Ebay, PLEASE contact me first before bidding. I am real easy to get along with, but I will cancel any bid from any person who does not do this. For some reason(I don't know why) there are people out there who like to bid up auctions when they have NO intentions of paying. It's not fair to the others who are legitimate bidders /buyers..
