OK boys and girls,it has been a long,long time since you have seen one of these on Ebay and it will probably be a long,long time before you ever see another,so bid to buy on this extremely rare truck.Look very closely at the photos and ask any questions you may have or feel free to offer any info you may have as well. With all of this out of the way,let's get to the truck.It is as rare as they get.A 1961 crewcab Chevy ( and it's not an Armbruster conversion either ).The truck shows 78K miles. I got this one locally from an older fellow that used it around his place sparingly.It is what it is.It's a 3/4 ton with a 6 cylinder and 4 speed ( all original ) with a very nice little flatbed.The tires are average.The only thing that doesn't appear to be original is the front seat and I am throwing in a 1961 bench seat that I have here altho it needs recovered. The body is very nice as far as 61's go.Both front fenders have rust and the passenger fender is bent at the bottom.The floors are very nice as well as the trailing edge of the rockers ( right under the doors ) But both lower rockers have rust ( replace or repair ).The cab corners look good as well and the doors are pretty nice as well.I saw one of these last year in rusty,rotten condition bring 4500.00 and it didn't even run. The grille and front is nice as well,just check over all the photos I have posted. OK,any questions,feel free to ask and yes,I will entertain a reasonable offer on this truck and I have set a very reasonable reserve on it. NOTE: THE GENERATOR AND TIRE IN THE BACK DO NOT GO WITH THE SALE IN ANY WAY,SHAPE,OR FORM.I HAVE ALREADY REMOVED THEM. Payment due within 7 days via Paypal Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer.I DO NOT SHIP VEHICLES.I allow 60 days for pickup after auctions end which I feel is more than fair.After 60 days,I charge 5.00 per day for outside storage.Sorry to have to do this,but I just can't store vehicles indefinately. On Aug-05-10 at 14:59:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I really appreciate the bidding on this rare truck,but I have to tell you that I paid alot of money for this truck and it is a long,long way off from meeting it's reserve at this point,and I can only suggest that if your a serious bidder and want a very,very rare truck,then you will need to get serious with your bids because a few hundred dollars isn't going to buy this one,and it will have to set in the barn. One can't even begin to build one of these for less than thousands with all the body work and parts that it would take not to mention the time involved. These don't come along for sale very often and I just can't give this one away.
