Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a very trick 1976 CR125 post vintage racer. This bike has many hard to find after market parts. It comes with: Marzocchi Magnesium Alloy front suspension Billit front number plate clamps Protaper bars Hand crafted Up pipe yamaha front wheel yamaha front brakes FMF porccupine head New Ohlin shocks Yamaha rear brake lever Chromoly brake stay with hyme joints Benolkin Booster Ported cylinder New booster ported piston and rings Gem reed block with fiber reeds 1979 CR125 tank 1979 CR250 seat 1983 CR125 throttle Longer swing arm for stability This bike has all. I built this bike to dominate the post vintage 125 class. Many professional riders used the Marzocchi Alloy Front Forks. This bike has a 1976 RM125 Swing arm which is much longer than the stock honda arm. The added length makes the bike more stable, it also prevents rear end swap, steering head shake and allows you to leave the line harder without wheel up. I used a yahama front brake and wheel because the yahama brakes were the best in 1976. The gem reeds give the motorbetter throttle responce and crisp bottom end pull. I removed the brake cable and replaced it with a brake rod and a longer yamaha rear brake lever. This bike stops much better than what Honda had to offer. The up pipe was built using a 1976 RM 125 up pipe. This is my version of a 1976 CR125 works bike. Good luck bidding, Steve Benolkin.
