I now want to sell it for tuiton purposes. My dad is a mechanic and has done all the work on it since he got it 6 years ago. On May-15-10 at 16:16:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Mileage: The previous owner blew the driver's side head on the car. He brought it to my father to fix it, and my dad went ahead and bought 2 new heads for it and the cam shaft that also needed to be replaced. The owner then could not come up with the money to have it fixed, and after 5 years, my dad decided to put a mechanic's lean on the title and give the car to me as a graduation present. He began rebuilding the engine with the heads that he had previously bought. He noticed that some water hoses and the break lines were damaged and replaced them from where they had sat for so long. By the time I was a freshman at UNC he had the title, which was summer of 2007. The two of us worked on it the following summer of 2008. At this point, we realized that the instrument panel did not work correctly (and I haven't had the money to replace it yet). It ran for about a month, and then we realized that a turbo had to be replaced, which was not replaced until the following summer of 2009. This past school year 2009-2010, I have realized that as much as I like the car, I have not taken it to school because I don't have a place safe enough to put it there. I have also invested a lot of money to get it running again, along with my dad, and I realize I would rather go ahead and sell it and make some money off of what he and I have invested. That is why the mileage has not increased. It says 83,799 but I figure I've put about 2-3,000 miles on it in the time that my dad has had it running. It wasn't until after we had it running, that we noticed that the odometer didn't work.
