Brief Description 2001 Honda Prelude, Crystal Blue Metallic Exterior, Black & Gray interior, very low 39k miles, 1 owner adult owned & driven. All stock, never modified or abused. Always garaged. Good luck bidding! Reserve set well below KBB value, this car WON'T LAST LONG, and it could be a long time before you see another one with this mileage! History This fine Prelude was purchased new by my older sister, and she has owned it for its entire 9 year life thus far. It has been garage kept the entire time. It is an all stock, never modified vehicle, which has never been abused. If you are shopping for Preludes, you are most likely aware of how important this is. The vehicle has been professionally maintained each time it required service, almost always at a Honda Dealership. This Prelude is accident free, with a clean title, no lien, ready for a smooth transaction. This was the last year for the Prelude, and it is a rarity to find one with this low of miles. Mechanical As mentioned, this Prelude has been maintained by the book. The H22A4 engine runs healthy, the transmission shifts smoothly. Acceleration, braking, handling, and steering are all very responsive, and indicative of a Honda vehicle with this mileage. Tires are brand new with less than 500 miles on them. Brand new O2 Sensor. All accessories work without flaw. Glass and lighting are in great condition with no cracks or chips. I test drove the car, and it does seem to have more road noise from the front of the car than I would expect. In my personal experience I might hypothesize that an axle CV joint, or wheel bearing is making noise. The noise is consistent while in motion, and does not vary by RPM. My sister had it reviewed a few times, and nothing was concluded. One review suggested a transmission failure, but, this seems far fetched when the transmission shifts normally, and the noise does not vary by RPM. Regardless, the issue does not seem to affect current driveability or performance. Interior Very clean interior, all electronics and features work great. AC blasts cold, heat blasts hot. The pictures will tell the story here. Exterior Again, very clean for a 9 year old vehicle. A few minor parking lot scuffs on the doors. I have taken close up shots of these. As mentioned, all glass and lighting is in great shape. Paint is glossy and shows no sun fade. Condition is indicative of its garage kept life. Again, pictures will do the car justice.
