2003 HONDA RVT1000 RC51 GREAT BIKE NEEDS A GOOD HOME Description: Up for auction is a 2003 Honda RVT1000 RC51 with the Repsol plastics and orange wheels. For those of you who know this motorcycle, you know it is a lightweight powerhouse that is getting more difficult to come by. This is a powerful V-twin with 133 horsepower and a dry weight of just 430 pounds. With 71 foot pounds of torque, this bike has plenty of low end power.This bike has a few goodies on it that are noted in the photos. The Scorpion full system gives it a great sound and typically retails new for about $1,200. It also has a carbon fiber rear tire hugger, rear spools and frame sliders. The Repsol plastics and orange rims definitely give this bike a unique look. Be able to find your bike in a crowd!!!! With our reserve price of just $2,999, this one is going to sell fast. Condition: This bike has 26,304 miles on it and is in overall decent shape. The front tire looks fairly new. The rims are in good condition and are free of any dents or major scratches. The plastics are Repsol and did not come stock this way. There is some chipping in the plastics on the right front cowl, left front fairing and rear cowl near the passenger seat. Please look at the photos carefully to see the blemishes. This bike starts easily and runs well. All it really needs is a little tlc to make it a solid rider. It will probably need a rear tire and rear brake lever as well as new grips and a new bar end. Please note that we are selling this bike "as is." It does run and runs well. There may be other work required to have it pass inspection and be a daily rider. We cannot guarantee what it does or does not need to make this a daily rider. The major components such as the clutch, transmission and engine seem to be in good working order. It will probably take some time and tlc to make this a great one of a kind motorcycle.
