You are bidding on the following car: 1980 Toyota Celica Convertible Sunchaser TX22 Legato Sport This is a rare vintage model - hard top (targa) convertible 2 door Conversion model – made by Griffith Co (Jacksonville, Florida) I believe they were made in limited quantities, approximately 800 or so This model is #0147 Comes with original Owner’s Manual, original Bill of Sale on 01/31/1980 for $10,099.00 and documents from Griffith Company to the original owner I have owned this car since 1992 and I believe there was one or two prior owners The car is running – not used often – usually in the summer only (kept garaged) However, there are several rust spots due to age of car (around the fenders) The convertible part (soft part with windows) is ripped, however I purchased a new convertible top which I will include with this purchase and cost $500.00 and you can have it installed, I never had a chance to install it Dent on passenger side door Car has surface wear, including scratches, dings, dents Carburetor will most likely need to be rebuilt for maximum performance Tires, mufflers fairly new Chairs need to be reupholstered – seats have rips - the front two seats are currently covered with seat covers Has new radio and speakers The hard top (targa) roof in fair shape – the inside parts need to be glued back to the top (see photo) The title is clear Good car for someone to restore - needs some TLC Always gets compliments when driving around Available for inspection and test drive I welcome all questions and inquiries This car is for pick up only - however if you arrange for it to be shipped I will be pleased to accomodate you The car is in running condition - it can be driven distances Never had the chance to fully restore as hoped Please email any questions you have before bidding, thanks!
