This is a 1959 Ford Fairlane 300 in baby blue with a blue interior. It has a 292 CID V8 engine with a 2 speed Automatic transmission and dual exhaust. The engine was rebuilt in 1997. The car runs smooth and quietly, idles well and drives well also. The body is very straight with very few blemishes, there is one patch on the passenger rear quarter panel I had done last year. There is a very slight crease in the driver's rear quarter panel. I had also put in new front floor boards with braces as well as a new rug. The quarter panel patch is holding but I did buy the replacement panel that will be included with the car. The chrome and trim are very good. This car was actually painted not too long ago (about 2004) and is ready to go as is or will be an easier restoration in the future. I intended to do the complete restoration over time but have lost my storage and have too many projects so I will have to let her go. In the trunk photo are other items that will be included; original air cleaner, new antenna mast, replacement windshield gasket, original carburator, extra tail light lenses, and fender skirts. I have driven it from time to time to local car shows and it always attracts a crowd. I am still driving the car to local shows so mileage may not match exactly but have only put on a couple hundred miles in the past 2 years. The interior is in good condition , the drivers arm rest has a tear and there is no passenger side arm rest, after market seat belts have been added (not mandatory back then). The radio is an AM FM cassette player with an auxiliary hook up for a CD or MP3 player. All new brakes around (drum), the front end was redone with tie rod ends, upper and lower control arm bushings and steering link rebuild kit. There is no power steering. The transmission has a slight leak at the tail shaft seal. The tires are near new and they are Cooper white walls P225x75x14, the wheels are chrome smoothies with baby moons. The vehicle is currently registered and titled in Massachusetts and the inspection sticker is still valid until month's end. Selling to US buyer only, no foreign inquiries please.
