Up for auction is this nice clean 1959 VW Dune Buggy. I took this on trade for a bike i sold but seems to be mechanically sound. Has new 1600cc motor that runs very strong! Chrome and alt converson so obviously it is converted to 12v. Motor does not smoke at all at start up or running. Floors are solid and glass is nice. Top was made and looks great at 5 ft but the stitching looks like they may have been drinking when made. Runs and drives, but does need some tlc, such as the shifter seems to be out of adj, Cluch holds but chatters. I think the gas guage is off....Just want you to be aware that mec the motor is great but the buggy does need some tinkering.
