1996 Nissan Pick Up Truck, 5 Speed, 4 Cylinder, Extended Cab For Parts or Body? The 1996 Nissan pick - up truck that you either see or planning to bid on belonged to my son (he was the second owner) when he bought it from a local dealership. He drove it until the engine started giving him trouble & I was going to put a newer engine in, but I just haven't had the time to mess with it. Although it has approximately 271,000 miles, it was a great little running truck... from running around town with our lawn service to family trips. It gets 20+ miles per gallon in the city & about 22+ miles per gallon on the highway. It has 4 really good tires (35,000 miles) that we just bought a few months before it went out & the air flow sensor (which was $600 from the dealership) was replaced with a new one as well along with the brakes & the alternator. It also has air conditioning, heat, an am / fm stereo radio with a cassette player as well as both driver & passenger air bags. The extended cab is nice because it has 2 fold-up / fold - down seats which is great for an extra passenger, groceries, etc. The bed of the truck has durable black bedliner for heavy tools, firewood, luggage (we have done it all). There's minimum body damage such rust, dents, scrapes, etc & looks good after a bath. There has never been an accident with this truck, no odometer changes, etc. & it has a clean, clear title. my son used to baby this, always carful to take care of it. If you are a mechanic & want to tool around for parts or are willing to put some work in for a 2nd vehicle, then consider this one!
