Vehicle Detail
Here is a nice conversion van for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune for a dependable vehicle. The injected 302 engine runs great, doesn't burn oil or make any improper noises. The transmission works perfectly and the rear end is quiet. The tires have excellent tread and were new 8000 miles ago. The exhaust is quiet and solid. The battery is a couple of years old and should last several more years. The brakes work as they should, no pulling or noises. There isn't any rust, since this Michigan van spent winters in FL. It was used by an older couple to drive to Florida in October, around Florida and then back home in April. Once back in Michigan, the van was rarely used. The mileage is 138,000, that is only 6000 miles a year I bought the van to do the same thing, travel back and forth to Florida, but our plans have changed and we no longer need the van. The rear couch is a power fold-down bed, too. The Florida sun has faded the paint a bit, and the interior shows some sun-fade, and the driver seat is worn, but it is still presentable. The radio/cassette player doesn't work right, you can barely hear anything even with the volume all the way up. I don't know if it is the deck itself, the amp/equalizer or the speakers, but a new radio wouldn't cost much and most folks would want a CD player instead of a cassette anyway. The a/c works, but doesn't get as cold as it should. It is low on refrigerant and needs a recharge, since it has been many years since it was charged. There is nothing mechanically wrong with the a/c and you can get a can of R-134a for $10 at any auto parts store. This van starts everytime, gets 17 mpg on the highway, goes down the road straight and stops straight, too. All in all, it is old, but gently used and has been maintained. If you need a van, here is a good one. Now the inevitable legal stuff. I am not a dealer, therefore the van is sold as-is where-is. But check my feedback, I didn't get 100% positive feedback by cheating anybody. I will store the van for up to 30 days after the auction close as long as my payment terms were met. If you are going to ship the van home, I would behappy to work with your shipper. Please ask any questions you may have and I will respond promptly. The van is available for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the acution early.
