1993 Honda Gold Wing GL1500 Aspencade Goldwing 1500 This bike was my summer day driver for a number of years, never gave me any problems at all except for needing a battery every 2 years. I was transfered out of the country for work 3 years ago and the bike has been sitting since. I pulled the bike out, replaced the battery and it fired right up. The only problems I could find after pulling it out were the battery would not hold a charge, so I replaced it, and the rear brake pedal has no resistance, I had a friend look at it and he thought it either needed bled or a seal kit for the rear master cylinder. He removed the main brake line fron the cylinder and said it did have pressure at that point, so he recommended bleeding the entire system. I have had no luck getting him back to bleed the system. The rear pads were replaced aobut 100 miles before the bike was put in storage. So it could be the master cylinder, caliper or it may just need bled. The brake resevoir had fluid in it so I don't know how it would need bled. When I pulled it out of storage both tires were flat, both seem to be holding air, but the back tire needs replaced. The back tire has little to no tread left. Engine fires right up and runs smooth. Reverse works fine. Cruise, radio( I did not check the tape player) and everything works as it should. Both front and rear suspension ride height works fine and holds pressure. The body and paint are in very good condition. The highway pegs have quite a bit of corosion on the back side and the crash bars have some rust. The crash bars may be able to be cleaned up, but the highway pegs are pitted beyond repair, the top is good, but the back of them are pitted. The bike runs great with the exception of the rear brake problem, which I just don't have the time to sort out right now. Email if you would like to come examine the bike in person.
