Vehicle Detail
Get youself ready for some nice summer cruising! I have up for bidding my 1973 red Ford Mustang Grande 302 Auto. Car has been sitting in nice dry storage for close to 3 years now. I just don't drive it and sure could use the money to finance some other on and going projects,so its time to let it go. When I first bought this I drove it a couple hundred miles to a few shows/cruises and that was about it. Car does run and drive nicely but I would suggest having new belts, hoses and maybe a tuneup done before driving and sort of distance as it has been sitting a while. Maybe even a look at the brake system wouldn't hurt. With the headers and 3 inch exhaust this Mustang has a mean sound to it! The car was painted/restored about 2 years before I bought it and still looks very sharp. Previous owner had a Mach 1 style hood put on and it really offsets the car. I was told there was a drivers side floor pan installed at that time along with a trunk floor, dropffs and drivers side 1/4 panel skin. Rest of the panels I'm told are still the original panels. From what I can see the car looked as if it was pretty solid before the restoration was done. Bottoms of the fenders don't show any signs of patches, bottoms of the doors look exceptionally nice too with no seam swelling or indications of any patch work. Same with the deck lid. I see a nice seam on the underside and no visual signs of bondo work. Right 1/4 panel also looks as if it was nice from the beginning. Frame of the car looks to be solid. I'm not seeing any obvious patchwork done. There was some newer undercoating apparantly applied to some of the underside where the floor section was put in and the trunk floor was put in. The chrome around the grille is missing but available on Ebay for about 100 bucks or so new. Windshield has some wiper blade scuffs on it. Engine compartment looks very clean with no rot on the inner fenders/hood hinge area.On the interior of the car the previous owner had new seat covers installed along with new carpet and even new door panels. All in all this is a nice sharp, clean head turning Mustang that can be enjoyed this summer. This is a NO RESERVE auction. High bidder takes it home. I am asking for a 500.00 non refundable deposit from the winning bidder within 7 days of the auctions end in the form of a cashiers check or money order. Balance to be paid in cash upon personal pickup. If vehicle is being shipped car needs to be paid for in form of money order/ cashiers check prior to vehicle leaving my possession. Payment will need to clear my bank before the vehicle will be released. Winning bidder responsible for all arrangements and costs incurred for shipping. I have a free and clear Pa. title in my name for the car. Car is sold as-is with no warranty. Feel free to Email me with any other concerns or pictures you may want.
