Your are bidding on a 1967 Mercedes Benz 200D. The car is my daily driver.(drive it 26 miles round trip every day.) Mechanical sound. Car needs paint and will need floor pans soon. If you are familiar with these old benz replacing the floor pans is common place. I original bought this car 1 year ago for my daughter. I was going to paint the car pink, and give it to her. However when I surprised her with the car last year she was not as happy about it as I was. She reminded me that old Benz's was my passion not hers. So i decided to make the old car my daily driver. I have/had big plans on restore of the car. However my new job does not afford me the time for such work. I would love to keep the old girl and restore her to her former glory, but with my new schedule I am a scared she will just set and fall ever more in to disrepair. The car has Mercedes Benz added air condition. The A/C pump is removed because I put a new water pump and alternator on the car. Installed new battery (1 month ago). Installed new factory M/B clutch master cylinder. (Bought Slave Cylinder at same time just have not put on yet. Will include in sale.) Diesel lines have been replaced with Factory M/B when available, 2 lines are part store made. The interior is good shape. Headliner has no holes. Car gets about 30 to 33 miles to the gallon. Uses 1/2 quart of oil every 3000 miles. We had an unusually cold winter here in Tennessee this winter 5 degrees every morning for about 2 weeks. With glow plugs held 1min 30sec. Car fired right up every morning. If temp is above 25 degrees waiting till the glow plug indicator turns red will start car. However if temps are below 25 degrees 1min 30sec(extreme weather starting conditions per manual). If you have any questions feel free to ask.
