LOW RESERVE AUCTION 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 4 Speed for sale 300 miles on the freshly rebuilt 350 engine. Power windows. A lot of new parts: new starter, new fuel pump, new battery, new clutch, new pressure plate, new radiator. The odometer shows 72,000 miles. The birdcage is solid. The frame for the top is in good shape but the top needs to be redone. It needs rear carpet, shocks, and there appears to be a spring for the front driver headlamp missing which is causing it to sit low. I have the original hubcaps for it. Good glass. Clear title. On Feb-14-19 at 18:42:03 PST, seller added the following information: Since I have been asked the same question a couple of times I figured I would put it on here. I bought this car from a guy who owned it for 30 years. The car starts right up and the motor runs strong. It can be driven onto a trailer without any issues. It will need shocks in order to be driven on the road. The top for the car is sitting outside of the car. For these reasons, this car will need to be shipped/trailered to your home. As mentioned in the listing, a lot of the major mechanical stuff has been done to this car -rebuilt engine, new clutch, radiator, etc. The gas tank also appears to have been replaced at some point. This car needs time and someone who knows corvettes more than anything. I do not know a lot about corvettes but it appears that once the engine was rebuilt the headlight lines were not hooked back up so they do not currently go up and down. The speedometer and the RPM gauge do not currently work. The other gauges seem to work other than the clock. The dash is in very good shape. There are no cracks in the dash. The windshield is in good shape. There are no cracks in the glass. The power windows work. This car needs stuff here and there but with some time it will make someone a really nice corvette!
