Up for auction is a 1994 Chevrolet Corvette. This Corvette is the base model with the 5.7L LT1 engine. It has an automatic transmission. The Vette has a little over 140K miles. This Vette is in overall good shape and has some aftermarket goodies such as a Magnaflow exhaust system and Accel fuel injectors. Also has a newer aftermarket CD player. Seats are in good shape, covers have protected them. This Vette does need some work. The following are the known issues with it: The engine runs well but has a misfire when accelerating quickly. If the throttle is pressed quickly, sometimes it will backfire out of the intake. I had it looked at and was told it could be an issue with the optispark distributor, but I do not know for sure, and because of this, it should be towed. The windshield is cracked. The body has a crack about the size of a dollar on the driver’s side, just behind the wheel well opening (see close-up picture). The tires are worn pretty bad, and will need to be replaced. The vehicle will need new weather-stripping. The removable hardtop appears to be acrylic, but has been painted body color, and the finish is not the greatest. The vehicle does have an ABS light on, but no check engine lights. The vehicle does have two “chip” ignition keys, but the previous owner lost the door keys, so it will need new keys cut for the doors. This is obviously not a brand new car and will need a bit of work to make it perfect, but it is still a good solid running and driving Corvette.
