I've owned this Motorcycle since 2013. I'm an enthusiast, and have taken great care and made thoughtful upgrades to this motorcycle during my ownership, however, I hardly have time to ride it these days. This bike starts well, runs & rides well - and is mechanically in excellent order. Here's a list of key items any buyer should take note of: - Toaster Tank, Original Paint (not perfect, but in excellent shape for her age)- All bowden cables, such as Throttle Cables, front Brakes have been replaced with new (BMW OEM parts)- Carbs were fully rebuilt, setup correctly - and have been maintained- Brand-new Continental Classic Attack tires, new tubes - fitted & balanced personally with ~500 miles on them.- New Valeo Starter - I prefer the cranking speed and lower draw- BMW OEM H4 Headlight Bulb, and LED Park light- LED Tail Light (a full array, inside original Housing)- New OEM Head Stem bearings installed (the previous owner did not maintain the head stem bearings correctly)- Koni Rear Shocks- Fully serviced front forks, (new seals, springs and adjustment)- New AGM Battery- New Copper Battery Cables / Terminals (both long Positive & Short Negative)- New Powder Coated Center Stand (OEM)- New Plug Wires & Caps- New (arguably not original braided) Viton Fuel Hose & Fuel Filters- New OEM Original Hand grips- New Pushrod Seals and Cylinder base re-sealing- Factory Toolkit + a few extra's I like to carry- Bike has always been garaged during my ownership- Clear California Title & Current Registration- Only 41k Original Miles I maintain all my own motorcycles, and have several classic BMW Type-247 Boxer twins, with an engineering background.
