Vehicle Detail
1999 Ford F-250 4x4 ext cab with the 7.3L power stroke v8. It has 256k some miles on it. Pretty good old truck. Very little rust for not being a southern truck. The drivers side cab corner has rust as you can see in the pics. I seen a really small place on the bottom of the passenger side ext cab door. Both driver and passenger doors has rust on the inside pinch point of the door metal. No rust on the outside of the doors. Tailgate has some dents along the top. Since I took the pics I found the plastic trim piece that goes across the top, and put it on. The power locks don't work on the truck. A/C feels like it needs recharged. Drivers seat is tore along the edge like they all do. 4x4 works, both power windows work. 7.3 engine runs good and strong. I park it every night on my cement driveway at home, and at most I have only seen a couple of small oil drops from under it. Very little at all. Tires look like they are almost new street tread. Front alloy wheels has the clear coat peeling on them. Truck body has some common dings, but really pretty decent for its age. Truck has a Jasper rebuilt trans that was put in at 187k miles. But I notice every time I drive the truck it likes to wind out in 1st gear way to much. If you barely just shake the shifter from OD to 2nd (I mean just barely shake it). The trans will shift right into second. It likes to stay in first way to long before it shifts into the other gears. I am not sure if it is maybe a shift solenoid or in the shifter on the column. Because sometimes you will have to pull the shifter and hold it up tight to start the truck when in park. Like the shifter has sloop in it (and it does have some). Trans never slips at all. I have drove the truck around as a everyday driver and trans has never slipped or not shifted. Engine sounds good and no smoking or weird noises. I believe the engine to be all stock and never been touched or a chip or aftermarket parts put on it. And stock 7.3 are the best because they will run forever if they are took care of. Truck has a gooseneck flip down hitch in the bed, and a reese hitch on the back. Frame looks really good. Interior looks pretty decent and dash is not all cracked up. Seats and carpets are farely clean. Center arm rest looks good. Both ext cab doors open, and close like they are supposed too. Rocker panels are not rusted out. If you have any questions feel free to call or text 1-765-546-2642 8am-8pm. I am located in east central Indiana. Since I have gotten this truck, I have put 1,200 miles on it. Drove it over a hour away numerous times. It always shifts (might have to shift it manually but it always shifts). Trans does not slip. I am a used Indiana auto dealer, and I must collect sales tax for the percentage amount your state charges. So upon final winning bid you need to add sales tax to that at the percentage you will pay in your state. And we send it to the Indiana state and they send it thru to your state. I want a small $250. non refundable deposit within 48hrs of the end of the auction thru pay pal. And then I want the rest in cash, cashiers check, money order, or your personal check within 7 days of the end of the auction. I will not release the truck until I am 100% the funds have cleared my bank. No ifs ands or buts about that. So I prefer cash upon pick up. Truck can sit here for up to 45 days after the end of the auction locked up in the fence. After that storage is $30 per calendar day. So make sure you have funds in order before you bid.
