Powertech Select Motorcars is pleased to offer this 2001 Porsche Carrera 2 Coupe. This is a beautiful solid two-owner car with a complete service history. It has 65k miles and just had the IMS bearing update, new clutch and RMS completed. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Black Leather Interior. It has a 3.4 Liter engine along with a 6-speed manual transmission. It is a highly optioned example with 18” Turbo Look Wheels, sport seats, heated seats, crests in headrests, carbon fiber/aluminum shifter and ebrake handle, litronic headlamps, alcantara headliner and 3-spoke steering wheel (this is a HUGE improvement over the not-so-attractive 4-spoke wheel). Interior modifications to the car include a Soundstream head unit with Navigation, Bluetooth and a CD player. The cosmetic condition of this 996 is very good relative to other 996's, both in and out. We've pointed out the most notable cosmetic items in a few pictures. The interior is clean. Everything appears to function as intended. It drives absolutely outstanding, the best 3.4 liter 996 I have driven in a long time. Service documents show maintenance as follows: - 65,277 miles (July 2018) IMS bearing upgrade (with LN Engineering), new clutch, Rear Main Seal and oil and filter change, etc. - 63,165 miles (Jul 2017) oil change, front brakes replaced - 52,479 miles (Jul 2013) oil change, new battery - 35,448 miles (Oct 2009) annual service - 34,103 miles (Jul 2009) new remote key - 30,207 miles (Sep 2008) 30,000 mile service, new wipers blades - 25,815 miles (Oct 2007) annual service, alternator replaced - 17,018 miles (Apr 2005) annual service, fixed oil leak from rear main seal - 16,962 miles (Apr 2005) fixed oil leak from intermediate shaft seal - 13,413 miles (Feb 2004) 15,000 mile service, rear tires replaced, fixed oil leak, new windshield washer reservoir - 12,500 miles (Jan 2004) repaired electrical malfunction for starting problem - 11,000 miles (Jun 2003) oil change, OXS Sensor fault repair - 8,323 miles (Oct 2002) oil change The Carfax shows an accident in 2005 and one in 2016, but the work was done to a high quality and does not detract from the condition of this car.
