Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a fully race prepped Honda CB350. Ready for AHRMA or Wera Vintage. I've raced this at Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio the last couple years as well as Gingerman, Putnam, etc. I've taken great care of this bike. I purchased it as a race prepped Honda but looked quite a bit different than it does now. I stripped the bike down to every single nut and bolt and built it back up even better. I replaced the original motor with one that has extensive modifications done. Everything is safety wired on the bike. It will pass tech inspection no problem. Much time was spent hunkered over the mill and the lathe to bring all this together. The bike races quite well. Stops hard and tips into corners quite well. Here are the particulars. FRAME & BODY Detabbed and gusseted frame. All seams were tig welded prior to me purchasing it. I went through and welded it some gusseting and a bit more seam weldingOnce done the frame was powdercoated silverGP shift custom rear setsAirtech fiberglass gas tank (sealed to guarantee not to be impacted by ethanol)Airtech fiberglass seatAirtech fiberglass belly panAirtech fiberglass front fenderScitsu tach FORK & FRONT END Honda SL350 35mm fork with new seals and fluid Honda CL450 front wheel with the bigger 2LS brake Cognito Moto custom triple treeNew grips and brake levers Short pull throtleWHEELS & TIRES Excel shouldered aluminum rim in the rear Stainless steel spokesContinental Road Attack CR Race Compound tires. One race on them. Loads of life leftMOTOR & EXHAUST If AHRMA allows it in Clubman then it happened to this motor. The only way I'd make my money back is if you were profoundly drunk and eager to hit the bid button. Plus I'm selling this no reserve so if you want it then bid on it. But please please please don't screw around and accidentally buy the bike with no intention of paying for the bike. In other words, no BUI (Bidding Under the Influence) please. I have four race bikes and I'm only one person so it's got to go. I spent a lot of time and money on this bike to make it race well and all weekend. It never let me down but like any vintage motorcycle you have to stay on top of maintenance. Change the oil after every race weekend. Make sure valves are adjusted. Make sure all nuts and bolts are tight. Etc etc etc. But if you are looking for a real head turner of a race bike that you can rely on then here it is. I've had some folks ask me about converting this to street legal. Technically it is possible but it would require a little bit of work. If you are interested in doing so we can talk about what all would be required. But no key, no side stand, no kick starter, no head light, no tail light, no brake light, etc etc etc. It's a race bike. So, to reiterate to the skinny jean crowd looking for a city beater bike, this is NOT street legal. Yes, you can ride it on the street. Yes, you will be breaking the law if you do. Yes, that is your problem and not mine. This is a race bike. It comes with bill of sale only. There is no title for it. Again, no title. If you ask me for the title I will publicly shame you and refer back to the previous three sentences. Did I mention this is Bill of Sale only? Yeah, it is. If you have any questions or want to see any additional photos please don't hesitate to contact me. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy belated Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and very early Happy Valentine's Day. On Dec-27-18 at 16:30:16 PST, seller added the following information: For those that have asked, and those who haven't asked but are curious, I have a little under $6000 total in this bike. That, of course, doesn't count the hours and hours I spent working on it.
