According to the Chevrolet dealer, if you believe Chevrolet dealers, it needs a new gas engine.this was after they told me it needed an ignition coil pack ($500.00) then a valve cover($500.00).when this still did not stop the engine from misfiring, they said it needed a $6,000.00 engine. so, I really don't know what is wrong with it.since there are no Volt mechanics in the US, I am selling it for parts. batteries charged to 30 miles and held the charge, right up until the engine died. I drove it on battery every day to work and charged it at work and at home every day.as far as i know, it is the original battery pack. bought the car used in 2013 with 12,000 miles. it won't let me charge it now, I guess because of the engine misfiring. you can test and charge the batteries before you buy it, if you know how. you can drive it on the gas engine, but it sputters and clangs and bangs. then it shuts off and says the engine is unavailable. I don't recommend driving it further then onto a trailer. I prefer to sell the whole car, but I will consider just selling parts if there is no interest in the whole car. except for the new ignition coil pack and valve cover, and new rear brakes, everything is in average condition. I can send photos of any part you are interested in. the charger has already been sold. never had cabin heat on battery, something in there is broken. don't ask me how much I spent trying to get that fixed. or how many dealers I have been to. local pick up only. you can hire a service to pick it up, but I will not assist with shipping.it is on a gravel driveway, near the street, so a tow truck, flatbed or pickup and trailer can drive up to it. or, you could drive it into the street and load it there. No telling how long that will take.You can withhold payment untill i get the title.If you are not going to register it, i dont think you need a title.If you are registering it in CT, DMV has a form i can fill out and give to you, then they send you the title.
