1993 BMW 318is, SUNROOF, 185087 miles Engine runs well, amazing engine, does not burn oil. Replaced items: Apr 2016 New parts– Engine gasket and seals, emission ports cleaned out, drive shaft coupling, crankcase breather hose, middle intake manifold gasket, lower intake manifold gasket, muffler brackets, rear flex brake hoses, rear brake pad sensors, exhaust pipe flange, coolant BMW blue, new radiator, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, bosch knock sensors, bosch 7402 spark plugs, power steering belt, alternator belt, front and rear main, complete clutch assembly. Mar 2016 New parts– Rear shock mounts, Bilstein rear shocks, Bilstein front struts (WP), front tie rod assembly, left and right. Aug 2015 – New parts- front and rear rotors, front and rear brake calipers and brake pads, new windshield The exterior front left corner and grill/hood requires body repair. I lost control down shifting on an exit ramp hitting a guard rail at 30 mph while slowing down on a wet road. I do not have the capability to restore this fun driving vehicle. As per examination of a mechanic, there was no issue on the steering rack and pinion although I suggest to have this checked. The interior seat coverings and the door panels requires recovering The body paint requires repainting as the front hood and the cab top lacquer has peeled.
