You are bidding on a NO RESERVE as-is auction that is a project car that has already had over $4k in mechanical repairs.....the car is an easy project that can be driven now and fixed over time...it is on the road now and has recently passed inspection Many of the mechanical work to make it drivable is done...and it was done by the local import professional garage so it is done right...also the car has new interior black leather seats, new heavy duty battery, new tires and rims..the air conditioning blows ice cold....the turbo kicks in nicely and it is fast and handles great...she ain't pretty but she is fun to drive! There are some dents on the lower body panels....nothing crazy but they are there. The car needs to be painted...it will need some "future" additional repairs to get it mechanically sound for years to come...the timing belt is worn and should be replaced, the interior headliner needs replacing, a small metal strip under the back window is rusted and should be replaced and the hatch weather stripping is bad...a small part of the interior passenger headliner plastic trim is missing and needs replacement....the antilock brake warning light is on (could be anything from a small to a costly repair)...the gas gauge doesn't work but the trip mileage counter does work....the other warning lights on the gauge don't work but they are lighted....I drive it more than an hour at a time and never have gotten stuck but I am sure as an 18 year old car that some repairs might be needed...the windshield washer tank has a leak...the passenger interior door panel needs the trim repaired....the power door locks and exterior lock cylinders do not work...it may have a minor slow oil or radiator leak...….not a perfect car but can be driven daily as it runs very well. The Carfax shows a title with a minor issue which is due to the odometer reading inaccuracy years ago before I owned it. It shouldn't matter today as the car is being sold as mileage unknown. The odometer and gauge cluster was replaced so I need to sell as mileage unknown on the title. Ebay mileage required a number so the above number reflected is incorrect. Compared to other similar 2000-2002 TT cars for sale this is a steal at this price! I retain the right to sell the car locally and end this auction.
