Vehicle Detail
I have a 1990 Miata with only 35,742 miles. This is an “A” package car. I bought it back late in 2014 for autocross. We’ve since done some upgrades such as an aftermarket catback exhaust, a racing beat front sway bar (I believe 1-1/8 tubular bar with 1/8 wall thickness), koni yellow single adjustable shocks, 949 racing way bar end links, Konig Helium Rims and bridgestone RE-71R tires. This car has been a sweetheart on the track. We even bought a newer NB miata because I was wanting to be more competitive in E street, but this car ended up being still the faster car. The water pump and timing belt was replaced shortly after we bought the car. There’s a sticker under the hood noting it was at 32,816 miles on February 27, 2015. Also upgraded to iridium spark plugs and new plug wires. Most of the non-original parts not noted above were done before I owned it such as the radio and aftermarket center console. I don’t have the original rims, but this car also comes with another set of wheels that have a much more “street” tire on them as compared to the bridgestones. This car has the wind deflector and the boot that covers the cabin with the roof down. Speaking of the roof, it is still the original top. There are a few imperfections with the body, most of which was there when I bought it, I believe I captured them all in the pictures. Previous owners installed an aftermarket grille and got rid of the tie down hooks. We put new hooks back in and modified the grille to fit. A/C is unfortunately still R12, but we have R12 that can go with the car if wanted. Everything else not mentioned is original.I absolutely adore this car and being historically an american muscle guy I thought I’d never say that in my life. In a perfect world I’d keep this one, daily drive it, and sell my current daily, but I can’t stand the thought of this car ever seeing road salt in the winter and I’m wanting to switch to something completely different for an autocross car. Time to let someone else enjoy this car and maybe put a few more miles on per year. Additional pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/159656826@N03/sets/72157701632763044
