This remarkable 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 four door sedan (VIN 558M89566) is being offered up for sale for the first time in sixty-three years. It was purchased new by my grandfather and has remained in the family ever since. Purchased as a family vacation car, it has only acquired 35,785 miles as of today (Yes, actual mileage). The car has always been garaged and well maintained. Except for minor repairs over the years, the vehicle is untouched and retains its original parts. The vehicle has never been in an accident, has no rust, and maintains it original artic white and glen green two-tone paint. The original grey interior is exceptional and shows little signs of wear. The body has small chips and dings consistent with an unrestored 63-year-old vehicle, but overall in excellent shape. The car is equipped with the original 324 cid 4bbl engine, 4 speed hydra-matic transmission, power brakes, and air conditioning (a/c not factory installed, retrofitted in 1956 from salvaged vehicle).
