2001 GMC SIERRA 2500HD REG CAB 4X4 SL 6.0 ltr Engine Engine runs strong and body is in great condition for 17 year old truck. Has a lot of potential.***TRUCK SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN AS/IS***MUST BE TOWED AWAY***The lower control arm mount on the passenger side must be repaired before it can be drivenThe vehicle was used for plowing at one point and has rust/rot underneath. The rear shackles are still in pretty good shape. It will need all front ends components (control arms,etc)Interior is in great shape with the exception of a small area of the headliner dropping (easy fix).I bought the truck as a project and have decided to go in a different direction. I HAVE NOT DONE ANY WORK ON THIS VEHICLE AND KNOW LITTLE ABOUT IT'S HISTORYI'll try to post some interior pictures ASAPThe Good:Engine runs strong with no noises4x4 (manual shift) seems to engage H/LInterior is in good shapeBody has minimal rustSteering shaft was replaced at some pointBrake lines and brakes appear to be replaced recentlyHas just over 93000 miles Known issues:Lower control arm mount (pass side) is rotted awayA/C has no belt on it (don't know if it will work)Tires are somewhat dry rottedLittle body rust (pass cab corner, couple other small areas)Oil drip believed to be from lines going into radiator (minimal only drips when running)Front components are crusty as well as the bolt on frame members (all avail online)Emergency brake cable looks like it's no good and the pedal goes to the floorABS light is on Brake light is onCenter brake light bulb is not workingI've tried to describe this vehicle as best as possible.
