This is a 2004 Ford Escape. This was my daily driver since 2012 and was a very good car. The body is in pretty good shape with minor wear and tear, but overall looks good. No exterior rust issues and still has a nice shine when cleaned. Tires are all fairly new with probably 75% tread life. Brakes should have at least 50% life left. Oil always changed between 3k and 4k miles. The interior is in nice shape with no excessive wear. The options are: Sun roof, 6 cd player, power driver seat, power locks and windows, power steering, all wheel drive, fog lights, alarm. I added a trailer hitch with trailer wiring. Now for the bad. The air conditioning compressor seized, and broke the drive belt. The car starts, but cant be driven until a new a/c compressor is installed. You can purchase one on Rock Auto for $115. The rear passenger door latch is not working properly, so i have a ratchet tie strap holding it shut. I have it so it isn't visible from the outside, but it should be addressed. Windshield has a large horizontal crack on drivers side. And finally, the last week i drove the car i was putting in new cd's in the cd player, and it decided to eat them and not give them back. It wont play them either. Before the A/C compressor seized the car still ran and drove fine. It would still be a good transportation vehicle if the issues were fixed. This car was always very reliable and never left me stranded. Also was adult owned. Selling As-Is and must be towed. No returns or warranties and no shipping.
