Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION Here is another unfinished project of mine that needs to be completed to be presented as a concourse condition 1969 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 liter left hand drive. I bought this vehicle from a doctor in Texas simply because of its dry weather and the car being a 100% rust free. Since then I have replaced and worked on the following: Gas tank was sent out to be cleaned and dipped in chemicals and resealed and painted to make it brand new condition. New battery was installed, brand new carpet was ordered from German Tops who is a well known company for European factory materials for all Euro models such as carpets, leather seats and convertible tops. All fluids have been replaced including brand new belts. Brakes were removed and all calipers have been sent out to be rebuilt and installed with necessary brake pads. Euro head lights were installed but I do have the American model headlights that I could replace with the current ones at the buyers request (buyer will get only one set of head lights)vehicle has white wall brand new metric tires which I think may be a little big for the vehicle. All hydraulic valves were removed cleaned and are in working condition. Vehicle at one point prior to me was painted but the color is off a little and has some metal shavings in it rather than flat midnight blue. If I were to keep this car I would replace the seats with full leather at cost of $3000 dollars which are ready to install from German Tops in Los Angeles to make it a perfect interior. Floor pans are in excellent shape and have no rust what-so ever. The same thing goes for the trunk and under the hood section! Grill and bumpers are in great shape and have no rust. There is a small dent on the rear bumper that could hardly be seen. There is a small chip on the windshield that could be fixed by windshield chip repair. All lights work except the amber lights but the wires are there and need to be reconnected. The underneath of the car was detailed and cleaned and looks awesome and original paint can be seen once we cleaned it. I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my knowledge and am not trying to get rich out of it I just do not have the time nor place to keep it since moving my operation to my house rather than my warehouse due to full time job I have taken so I can keep up with my projects. Please ask any questions prior to bidding or buying the vehicle as the vehicle does not have reserve and will be sold to highest bidder and I expect to get paid at the end of the auction. Bid with confidence and ask as many questions as you would like before bidding. All European buyers are welcome to bid and I would be more than happy to make myself available for transportation pick up or drop off at the port of long beach. Thank you and happy bidding.
