This beautiful GLK is a 1-owner executive-driven car. It has spent its life in the Southeast where it snows maybe every other year. It has never been smoked in and is super clean inside and out. There are 2 significant ones on the left rear door (see close up photo) but the others are pretty minor Wood trim around ignition switch has a small crack in it Left rear door lock only intermittently works from the remote (works when the knob is pulled/pushed manually) Gas cap retaining cord is split Light scratches on hood Color: Exterior: Arctic White Interior: BlackThe Arctic White car with Aerodynamic Package and Twin Spoke wheels was the "cover car" for the web site and a brochure or two when these were new - this car is the way Mercedes-Benz meant these to look :-) Note on airbag recall: there is a recall out on the airbags but Mercedes-Benz does not yet have the parts manufactured; otherwise I would have had the dealer do this. If other sellers are not posting a similar comment in their ad/auction, they are omitting this fact. All of the GLKs of this period have the same recall, and it also affects other Mercedes-Benz such as I believe the C-class and other classes. Mercedes-Benz will replace the airbags for free once they receive them from the manufacturer. Note on mileage: we still are driving the car while the auction is live so the mileage will go up as you would expect. Please email me for exact mileage before bidding. On Oct-04-18 at 07:32:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Information on pricing: According to Kelly's Blue Book (kbb.com) the average sale price for this car with its options is $11,978 so I set the Buy It Now to that The high price is $13,347 I have set the reserve significantly below the average price, but given that the Buy It Now price on this auction is the KBB average sale price, someone may buy it before it hits the lower reserve Maintenance: Scheduled maintenance has all been performed and none needed until the next scheduled interval Tires:The car is fitted with the same Pirelli Scorpion tires as were fitted at the factory. We tried a couple of other brands over the years and despite those being more expensive liked the way these ride and drive the best 3 of the tires show 4/32" or more of tread remaining (by the quarter test that shows Washington's head is covered these are good to go ) 1 shows over 2/32" of tread remaining (by the penny test, Lincoln's head is covered so this tire is fine but should be replaced soon. It is not at the wear bar so I would guess at least a year of life left depending on how you drive. I rotated it to the back so it should wear much less there) Brakes: Rear brake pads, rotors, and calipers were replace about 1.5 years ago Brake fluid flushed in entire system at that time Front brakes pads are good That was all a $1,500 expense On Oct-04-18 at 07:36:26 PDT, seller added the following information: A note on the accident in May: the extent of the damage was that the reflector popped out and was replaced for ~$70. The rubber marks left by the other person's bumper buffed out. This was a very low speed accident in a parking lot, not a big deal. On Oct-04-18 at 08:09:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Free Sirius XM: They will not transfer my lifetime subscription to our new car so I will simply leave it with this one. Their web site is a bit vague on this; it states the lifetime subscription is good on the receiver itself and they won't transfer it away from the one in this car for me. On the other hand they say it is not transferable to another person. Since they have never contacted me to confirm I am still the lifetime subscriber my sense is the buyer of this car/auction will likely have free Sirius XM on this car/receiver.
