https://youtu.be/xRmhdO80_j8 VIN: 1G1YY26E085123833 2008 Corvette z06 2LZ 41k miles Second owner, southern car, clean carfax. TLDR - H/C/I/E, Clutch, Flex fuel, 600 wheel, tuned by James Karger, mechanically sound, cosmetically super clean. Starting bid is what I owe on the car. Title is at Capital One, there is a branch 15 mins from my house to execute the sale at. It will take roughly two weeks for you to get the title from when the sale is executed at the branch. I am NOT willing to ship, drive to a pre-purchase inspection, or jump through any other ridiculous hoops. I travel most of the time for work and do not have time for that. If you are concerned about anything on the car I will shoot a video or send pics of anything you want. First time vette owners please read the fun facts at the end! https://youtu.be/xRmhdO80_j8 Mods: West Coast Cylinder Heads - Port, polish, resurface (stock compression), valve guides, steel exhaust valves, springs, ARP push rods, ARP head bolts. Brian Tooley Stage 3 LS7 NA cam - 237/250 .646"/.632" 113+3, 3 bolt timing gear pattern. MSD Atomic Intake manifold, stock not ported. Monster clutch LT1-S twin disk. Remote clutch bleeder valve. Nick Williams 102 throttle body. Haltech killer bee cold air intake. Kooks 1 7/8" headers, ceramic coated. Kooks offroad X-pipe. Stock bi-mode muffler. Mild to wild remote. Mechman 170 amp alternator. Magnus adjustable launch controller custom fab install. GM flex fuel sensor. Injector Dynamics 1000's. TI 485 Fuel pump. Dashlogic programmed by me. 160 degree thermostat. Diff from a 2007 z06 - 20k miles (yes the original diff blew up) C5z06 axles (halfshafts). Lowered on stock suspension bolts. 5% tint by TriTek 3M clear bra kit (front, side skirts, mirrors, hatch) Tuned by the legendary James Karger aka "El Stunna" aka "L.S. Tuna". Stock stuff in case you're wondering: Wheels Brakes (still in great shape) Radio and speakers Shifter and shift knob Steering wheel Entire interior including seats Dry sump and oil tank Entire engine bottom end. Radiator All lights and reflectors. Recent maintenance: New Nitto NT05r 345/30/19 Drag Radials New Nitto extreme up front Torque tube rebuilt (new bearings) Entire driveline gone through and checked, new fluids, everything buttoned up tight. Engine belt replaced. Oil change on 8/27/18 @ 41k miles. Windshield replaced on 9/5/18 (got a nice rock chip on the highway) Misc: All major engine mods were done about 5k miles ago. Heat, AC, and heated seats work great. Comes with the super soft car cover! Floor and trunk mats are apparently optional accessory z06 upgrades. Known problems: HVAC control screen sometimes likes to flash, known problem with vettes, can be replaced but it never bothered me. Battery should probably be replaced, I keep it on a tender all the time so I'm not sure. A couple minor cosmetic flaws. However, the car is in impeccable shape for a 10 year old car. New starter (still acting weird, lifetime warranty though) Fun facts for first time vette owners and / or car noobs: 2008 was the first year the vette got the TR6060 transmission. A much better and stronger trans than the T56 in previous years. For some reason I get asked this all the time - True flex fuel means you can run 93 octane, or e85, or ANY MIX of the two and the computer automatically changes it's tune in real time based on the ethanol % the flex fuel sensor is measuring. E85 is great for a horsepower boost due to cooled intake charge, but it's not easy to find, so thats why you have flex fuel to run 93 when you can't get e85. If you want to go full send, put some e100 in there. A good tune is the difference between an engine blowing up or being reliable. It's also the difference between bad and good driveability. This car literally drives like stock and is conservatively tuned to be safe and reliable. LS7 heads are known to drop a valve, these heads are taken care of. If you're buying a LS7 car, make sure it has the steel exhaust valves too. I've seen LS7 cars with "heads done" still dropping a valve because the stock valves were re-used. C6 alternators are terrible and known to fail, you're taken care of with the Mechman. C5z06 axles are bigger and stronger than c6z05 axles. Ceramic coated headers dramatically reduce engine temps by keeping the heat of the exhaust in. Corvette torque tube bearings go bad easily, this one just got it all taken care of. Clutch fluid in a corvette should be kept clean and clear or you risk damage. The traditional method of cleaning the fluid is to literally turkey baste the reservoir. This car has an aftermarket bleeder valve to easily do a much more thorough job.
