1965 MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE A CODE. VERY ORIGINAL CA 289 4V, AT, PS. I recently purchased this barn find in CA. It has been stored as pictured in a barn since the mid 1980’s. The car is extremely original. See pictured tags on intake and back seat etc… I believe the drivetrain to be original. The engine turns over easily by hand. I do not know if it will run. I am selling the car as needing complete restoration. I have one too many projects and have to let this one go. THIS CAR HAS NO RUST/ROT. It is an all original sheet metal convertible with NO structural rust. Everything pictured is surface rust. The car has the original carpet underlayment with NO rust underneath. I SUSPECT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL TOP ALSO. The frame rails and trunk drop downs etc…. are excellent. the quarters are dented but not rusted out. Bottom of doors are good. The car has a replacement coupe door installed. Glass will need to be swapped if kept this way or re-skin included original door. This is a highly sought after original A code convertible with solid factory sheet metal, factory center console, power top etc.. This will make an excellent restoration candidate. Restored this car is worth over $50K!! Car comes with bill of sale. (I may have a new VA title in my name by close of auction.) Car is advertised with NO RESERVE. PAYMENT TERMS.
