Our hobby is bringing Brick Volvo’s back to life. This is a 1 owner 1986 Volvo 240 that was parked in a garage in 2003 when the owner purchased a new car. The car sat for 15 years so we had to replace many items. Below is a partial list of the work done : New fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel sending unit and injectorsAll FluidsBrake booster and master cylinder Complete a/c system. ( 134)Headlights due to fadingBatteryTires were replaced with almost new tires. Water pump, hoses and belts This car was purchased new in Virginia and spent its entire life here. I have the original title , bill of sale and books. Has 139k and the speedometer and odometer works. No rust on body or undercarriage. This Brick Volvo is in great condition for a 32 year old car, but does have a few flaws as follows: Original radio works but manual tuner does not. Has cracks on dash and minor interior wear including a half inch hole in the back seat. Driver seat belt retractor is finicky. Available for inspection in Richmond prior to bidding. We have spent nine months restoring this car and have replaced anything necessary to get this car back to running condition.
