Vehicle Detail

If you're looking for a solid, dependable, go-anywhere Double Cab Tacoma, this could be the truck for you. I bought it from the original owner five years ago, and we both maintained it meticulously. 4x4 TRD Off-Road SR-5 Double Cab 3.4-liter V6 with lots of powerAutomatic transmissionNEW FRAME! Replaced under Toyota recall in 2016New bumpers, shocks, springs, trailer hitch installed during frame replacementBrand new brakes and all-season off-road tiresEVERYTHING works (heat, cold A/C, power doors, windows, all lights, stereo, etc.)Low mileage (avg 10,000 miles/year)Color-matched Astro cap/topper with integrated roof rackThule roof rack on cabIf you've been shopping for one of these, you know how rare the '01-'03 4x4 Double Cabs are. As of today, there were 52 of them for sale on AutoTrader, and only a handful were under $10,000. They hold their value! Mechanically, mine is a fabulous truck. Aesthetically, it's a little rough. But instead of paying $6k for a paint job so I could get top dollar out of it, I decided to sell it as-is and let someone else decide if they want to doll it up, or keep treating it like an actual truck, and be okay with a couple scratches and dents. As you can see in the photos, rust is minimal. The driver's door is the only place where there's any perforation. I've included photos of all the rough spots. Included in the sale are a new trailer wiring harness and trailer brake controller. When the dealership performed the frame replacement, they threw away the old (7-flat) trailer connector and only put on a 4-flat. I just haven't gotten around to installing the new ones. I also have a new set of headlights (the original ones are kinda hazy) and the trim pieces that go underneath them. I'm probably overstating the "roughness". It's a good-looking truck. It's just not a show vehicle. But it's a good one, and I'm sure the third owner will be as happy with it as I have been. FINE PRINT: Please don't bid unless you can come up with the cash. Almost every time I've sold a vehicle on eBay, I've had to re-list it because some yahoo got click-happy and suddenly realized they have no money, but plenty of excuses. If you're new to eBay (less than 20 positive feedback), send me a message before you bid. I am willing to assist with shipping/delivery for an additional fee. And I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event of a local sale.
