Super Clean 1998 Dakota SLT..I'm selling it to down size and purchase a new vehicle.I bought this truck from the original owner down in Jasper Georgia, which is about an hour north of Atlanta. He kept it in the garage, which contributed to it's condition. While he owned it, on top of doing all the normal maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires, etc.) he had the timing chain replaced around 130K mile, new ball joints at 120K miles, distributor and water pump were done right before I bought it at 141K miles. New tires installed back in 2015, and they still look new. Maybe 9,000 miles on them.Since I bought it I installed a new exhaust system including the catalytic converter and a new Throttle Position Sensor, as I was getting a nuisance light for the TPS occasionally. New NGK plugs went in and a new coil just to get everything refreshed.I installed a power window kit which works really well. It was a nice upgrade to the truck.I also replaced all the factory speakers in the cabin, as they were shot from age. The Infinity Sound System sounds very good now.Externally, I added the Mopar stripes on the side of the bed walls and also the caps on the bed as well. There are a few small scratches and blemishes on the body, but nothing terrible. There is one small ding on the left front fender right next to the V6 logo. I just never did anything with it.Also a small dent in the front bumper on the right side from contact with something by the original owner, but he didn't tell me what he hit.The interior is darn near new. A few spots in the carpet and one spot in the right rear seat, which I couldn't clean off. There are a few tiny blemishes in the headliner, but nothing noticeable unless you're really looking.When he ordered the truck, he ordered it with the towing package, which gave the truck the trans cooler, heavy duty rear suspension, Receiver Hitch, Trailer Brake connection and the Limited Slip Rear differential with 3:55 gears.The truck drives like a truck with 40k miles and not 147k. My main reason for selling is that I just don't drive it very much. I can't justify owning a truck like this if it's just going to sit.I did an oil change a few months ago. Heater works well too. The power window kit was purchased here on eBay and I installed it myself. The windows motor up/down fairly quickly and the switches are lighted, which is kind of nice.
