78 vw bus. Has 2.0 but has been converted to a carburetor. Not sure on exact miles but currently reads 04452. 4 speed manual. 3rd gear grinds now and then but gear works properly with no slippage. I’ve owned the bus for 5 years and it was originally a Washington bus. Then it lived in California for a year before moving to Iowa for the last 4 years. I currently daily drive the bus and it has never failed me. I have driven it from Portland to LA and then from LA to Des Moines Iowa and have had no major issues. Motor runs strong and it cruises 75 on the interstate. Overall straight body with only some surface rust on drip rails and small spot on roof. Pans are 90% clean and solid. Interior paneling could use some tlc or updating and seats show some wear and tear. Rear passenger wheel makes a noise every now and then but 2 mechanics have told me it’s the brake needing adjustment. Leaks small amounts of oil from right gasket. Paint isn’t perfect but it is also a well traveled bus. Small crack in windshield.
