Greetings! Up for sale is a 1965 Mustang Coupe. I am the third owner of this car. It has never been in an accident. The car is a “resto-mod” style and has lots of nice features. Please see the attached photos and ask as many questions as you like! This is a fun car to drive and it gets a lot of attention. I have owned it since 2002 and I’m ready to move on to something else. Good Details: · DuPont Midnight Pearl Metallic (Exterior Color)· American Racing Wheels· Nitto drag radials (front 205/60/16, rear 245/60/16).· Four wheel SSBC disc brakes with red powder-coat calipers· American Thunder Dual Exhaust· 8.8” rear end with Eaton Posi traction unit· Original 289 block bored .060 over (actual displacement 299 cu)· Edelbrock Performer RMP top end kit· Holley 4-barrel Carb· Aluminum Edelbrock heads· Edelbrock roller cam· Tremec 5 speed transmission· Center Force clutch· Hydraulic clutch · Black interior · Simpson Racing belts· JME Enterprises/Auto Meter Gauge cluster· Grant steering wheel· Alpine head unit· Kicker front/back speakers· JL AMP in trunk· Cover Craft car cover and duster included. · Receipts and associated paperwork included. Bad Details: · The heater motor doesn’t work (motor needs replacement)· Parking brake doesn’t work (I believe the pull handle under dash needs replacing)· License plate light doesn’t work (needs a new harness) · Cable for gas fill cap is detached· Glove box light doesn’t work and the glove box cable is not hooked up· There are a couple of scratches in the paint on the driver’s side door · Driver’s window rolls up a little rough· No AC or power steering Mileage: · I extensively restored this car including new transmission, engine top end, interior, etc. When I replaced the gauge cluster the mileage on that was zero. I don’t know the original mileage from the original gauge cluster. AAA Insurance has insured this car as a collector for $25,000 and they accepted the mileage on the new gauge cluster (2290). Price, Payments, Shipping: The starting bid is $13,500. I will only release the car and title once payment is received. Payment is due within 3 days of auction end. · Buyers local to Orange County, CA: I prefer to meet at a Bank of America to exchange the funds, sign over the documents to you, and give you your new car. · Buyers outside of OC Or CA: I will accept a wire transfer to Bank of America or a Cashier’s Check only. You’ll have to arrange for transportation of the car at your expense. (Once the car leaves my custody I’m not responsible for any damage shipping issues.) I’ll only release car once full payment is received. I will either give the title to the vehicle transport driver or I can overnight the title to you at my expense. · I will ask that the buyer signs a simple document indicating the sale of the Mustang has occurred and the car is being sold in “as-is” condition with no warranty on the date sold and at the agreed price. I will sign the document as well.
