Vehicle Detail
Summary This 'wee scooby' is first new car I ever bought, back in August 2001. Seventeen years, and 82K miles later, I still love this wee car, and it kinda breaks my heart to sell it. It's really clean, and it runs like a dream! Extras Stainless Steel Turbo XS WRX Rear Muffler, which brings out the beautiful sound of the 'boxer burble' in a subtle way. The (barely used) original stock muffler comes with the car (see pic attached)Turbo XS Manual Boost Controller (reduces ‘turbo lag’)Turbo Boost gaugeK&N Air Filter (filter cleaning/oiling kit available with the car)Pioneer AVH-280BT In-Dash DVD Receiver with Bluetooth with hand free phone mic and AUX input (see pics attached). The original stock receiver (6 CD changer & Radio) also comes with the car.Additional 12V outlet on steering column, for charging phone on vent mount.Additional 12V outlet on rear parcel shelf (pwr for back seat passengers). Service History Routine maintenance & Oil service at 3000 mile intervals. Just passed Virginia State Inspection (good for 12 months). The front tires were at the limit of tread wear, and will likely need replaced before next inspection. Few Imperfections Passenger side front fender was professionally replaced (in 2011) after an altercation with a deer! There are a few little dings and paint blemishes, which you can see if you look close. I’ve tried to catalog them in the attached pics. Videos (available on request) Engine start Short drive video Driving History This car has been my daily driver since I bought it new. It’s never been raced, and it's been garaged every night. It has been an incredibly reliable wee car – never let me down, and aside from regular maintenance has cost me little. Also, it is so much fun to drive. Great for passengers too. And it looks great, outside and inside! It’s the original WRX model introduced in the US – the famous ’02 Bugeye – and in my opinion has way more charm and personality than any of the model years that came after.
