I found this running, driving fully functional Mercedes in the middle of nowhere! The fuel injected straight six 2.8 litre starts right up, no matter how long it has sat, and it drives like a new car. It runs straight down the road, turns on a dime, and brakes quickly and smoothly. It's very quiet, idles perfectly, and shifts quickly through the gears. It runs at the top of the oil pressure gauge and sits at 180 degrees. It has a dull paint job, and has a little bondo behind the front tires(where they all rust). The doors are all amazingly smooth and the door handles and locks work. The brightwork is excellent, and all there! The windows are all in,but none of the electric motors work?,could be super simple. It has a tiny chip on the windshield. This car needs some restoration, the rear seat needs recovered, some of the electronics,AC does'nt work, nor does blower... a new paint job would do wonders, I just have too many projects,The wipers work, lights work, horn, antenna all do.Hubcaps are awesome.
