Vehicle Detail
Selling my 79 Malibu. I bought this car about 8 years ago with no engine and it STILL has no engine. I knew about this car for 7 years before I bought it and I’ve never seen an engine in it. SSOOO...79 Malibu Classic. NO ENGINE. Originally a 267 V-8 car. Still has original th250 transmission. No wires were cut during engine removal. Radiator and torque converter are in the trunk. PS pump and starter are still under hood. Body is in nice condition but floor does need some work. FRAME RAILS ARE SOLID AS A ROCK! This car has a GOOD G-body frame! I also replaced the rear end with an 8.5” rear from an 86 T Type. It has 3.36 gears I believe with open diff. I am including a factory locker (in the trunk). I paid a lot for the rear and locker! Car has some interesting options to include a FULL vinyl top, factory bucket seats, center console, air conditioning, and gauges. Rims are brand new at least 15 years ago. They have never driven down the road. Tires are bad but all 4 hold air. Headliner is bad and A pillar plastics are brittle. I’m trying to be as honest as possible. Any other questions, just ask. Car CAN be seen, just ask. On Aug-23-18 at 10:35:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello,I'm sorry for not responding to a few questions that have been asked. Something is wrong with the message center and it WILL NOT post my answers. SSOOO.....The Malibu has a clear title in my name. The trunk floor is solid. There is a small rust spot the size of a silver dollar on the RH rocker panel just forward of the rear tire. The drivers side door skin has rust at the bottom (clogged drain I guess)
