Brian A Hayes On Aug-12-18 at 14:47:28 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to some questions presented this morning: The intermediate shaft on this car has been changed to the newer style but I do not know when or at what mileage. The drive line on this Boxter is Tight In a good high performance kinda way. There are no wobbles or anything weird at any speed!! If you are planning to fly in and drive this home I recommend doing so to ANY destination on the planet without hesitation !! We did not tune the car after the supercharger rebuild and it has the same program / management system as before which I believe is that of a 911 Turbo. Documentation from when the supercharger was first installed simply lists "Fuel Computer" as an added major component. All spark plugs were replaced and oil changed with recent service. All fluids checked - Full and CLEAN. The car leaks Nothing! The engine does not have any grime from seeping gaskets. There are no leaks present to any system on the car. Not even residual fluid from previous services. Its the cleanest 1997 model car I have personally ever seen. The vehicle has been lowered but I have no info on how much or what was changed when it was done. I welcome 3rd party inspections if you can not do it for yourself. There are a few good European performance shops in my area. I do not do business with these shops on a regular basis so there is no conflict of interest with any of them. I can also connect you directly with the gentleman who did the most recent charger work and services. Also there are no Check Engine or other warning system lights. Any smoke smell ? I've never pulled a Carfax or Autocheck report so I cant verify accidents reported or number of owners. I was told by the previous owner that it was a 2 owner vehicle which makes me the third I presume. I see no physical indications which would indicate paint work or accident repair. There is a tiny little puff of white smoke when you first start the car after it has been sitting several days or longer which I was told is normal due to the flat engine configuration. It's a really nice car, there's no surprises or things that I am aware of which need corrected. To be super critical of the vehicle, I'll add that every now and again upon turning on the HVAC a tiny piece of deteriorated insulation from the inside of the upper vents might fly out. It seems kind of trivial to mention but its the only thing I can think to add that I would construe as not 100% and its the only thing I can think to pick apart anywhere on the vehicle.
